Scope of the Role

Recollective is looking for a Research Strategist to join our growing Research Services team. While Recollective doesn’t conduct research on behalf of our customers, the Research Services team uses our in-house research experience and skills to enable our customers to do more using Recollective.
The right candidate is a tech-savvy qualitative researcher who is looking to shift their career focus to helping others expand the way they use technology to successfully conduct research online.
Role Responsibilities
As a Research Strategist, you will function as a liaison between Recollective and its customers to help provide support and guidance through a variety of services, including but not limited to:
– Research Consultation: Provide expert guidance and recommendations on how customers can approach their research objectives using Recollective
– Guide Reviews: Review screeners and activity guides, optimizing for online community participation, engagement and insight generation
– Custom Training: Provide expert research guidance on how to successfully set up and manage research projects using the Recollective platform through live training sessions and workshops
In this role you will:
– Help establish new processes and procedures related to Recollective’s Research Service offerings
– Help create best practice webinars and deliver those sessions to support customers and prospects (pre-recorded or live)
– Support the updating and expansion of Recollective’s pre-recorded training webinars
– Assist or support in the development and execution of internal research projects, when applicable
– Support Customer Enablement, Research Services or other company initiatives as required
– Contribute to Recollective’s growing library of customer-facing marketing content and resources, as needed
Required Skills and Experience
– 3-5 years of experience working in the market research industry (outside of University/Internships)
– Knowledge of marketing research, qualitative methodologies and online data collection is essential
– Demonstrated capability for running online qualitative studies and communities
– Experience programming an online qualitative platform
– Ideally has first-hand experience running online qualitative projects using Recollective or other online qualitative platform(s)
– Outstanding customer service skills with strong attention to detail
– Strong project management and organizational skills
– Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior individuals across a wide range of industries
– Ability to pivot and adapt to changing organizational demands
– Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities
– Degree or diploma in a research-related field is considered an asset, but not required
Location
This position is open to all applicants located in Canada, although strong preference will be given to those located in Ottawa or in an Eastern or Atlantic Time Zone.
